Johnson Matthey wants to give emerging designers, whether working independently or for a manufacturer or retailer, the chance to design a new and unique piece in platinum. To help you get started, each of four winners will receive 1 troy ounce of platinum – that’s 20 pennyweights – from Johnson Matthey NY to help them make their design. Remember, to enter the competition you only need to submit a drawing, CAD file, or photograph to sustainabledesign@jmusa.com. Only the competition winners will need to make the winning pieces – which will be showcased at an exclusive invitation-only cocktail party during MJSA Expo on March 15th at the exclusive Soho, New York City venue Kittichai.
