Sunday morning Rangers things

Sunday morning Rangers news and links
Two games yesterday, with the Rangers winning the one they played against the Dodgers in Arizona, and losing the one they played against the Cubs in Las Vegas.
Drew Davison's game story from the victory praises the work by Matt Harrison, who threw five shutout innings and retired the final 14 batters he faced.
MLB.com's game story also celebrates Harrison's performance, as well as highlighting scoreless innings from Jason Frasor and Josh Lindblom, as well as a home run by David Murphy.
Jeff Wilson's game story from loss Vegas focuses on Joey Gallo, who a year ago was playing for his high school team in Las Vegas, and who got into the game in the late innings and hit a double that would have been a home run in most MLB parks.
Of course, if you were watching the game on TV, you wouldn't have known that Gallo was in the game until he was on second base. Gallo spent two innings in the field and started his at bat without anyone on the TV broadcast acknowledging he was in the game, instead talking to someone from Dairy Queen in the booth (while obsessing over his "soft hands") and then interviewing A.J. Pierzynski.
T.R. Sullivan's game story talks about Nick Tepesch having a decent outing yesterday, one that was his weakest of the spring, but was still good enough to keep him in the mix for the fifth starter job.
Ron Matejko has his Rapid Reaction to the 4-0 Ranger victory over L.A. and the 5-1 loss to Chicago at the ESPN Dallas blog.
Gerry Fraley has a write-up on the two Rangers exhibitions from yesterday at the DMN Rangers blog.
Jeff Wilson has a story on the decisions still to be made by the Rangers, with the #5 starter job, the utility infielder spot, and several spots in the bullpen still up for grabs.
One pitcher who has surprisingly thrust himself into the bullpen mix is Ben Rowen, who fascinates Ranger management, according to Fraley.
As noted in the story we put up last night, Kyle McClellan is injured, and will not be healthy in time to be on the Opening Day roster.
Anthony Andro runs down the third base position in the A.L. West, and the Rangers, with Adrian Beltre, are ranked first in the division.
The DMN has a story about how Michael Young has fit in and meshed with his new Phillies teammates.
Bill Baer previews the Rangers' 2013 season at Hardball Talk.
The S-T has a Q&A with 5'7" lefty Joe Ortiz, who is fighting for a spot in the Ranger bullpen.
T.R. Sullivan's notes talk about Mike Olt being watched by scouts this spring and trying to find his role with the Rangers and Derek Holland contracting food poisoning while being with the USA WBC team.
