named Gwyneth Paltrow the Most Beautiful Woman of 2013. It’s refreshing
for People to recognize this fit and fabulous 41-year-old mother of two
as their most beautiful woman of the year. Paltrow’s beauty reflects
both inside and out, and her successes span both on and off screen.
Gwyneth Paltrow was born into a
successful Hollywood family, which led her to realize her true passion
of acting at the ripe age of 18. The Golden Globe, Screen Actor’s Guild,
and Academy Award Winning star began her career in theater and landed
her first film in 1991 alongside legendary actor John Travolta.
Paltrow’s breakthrough performance was the title role of Emma Woodhouse
in “Emma” in 1996. Just two years later, she received the Academy Award
for Best Actrice in a Leading Role for her performance as Viola De
Lesseps in “Shakespeare in Love.” In 2010, this multi-talented wonder
woman debuted her vocal talents on the big screen in the box office hit
“Country Strong.” This spring, we look forward to seeing her in her
returning role as Pepper Potts in the long anticipated “Iron Man III”
film alongside Robert Downey Jr.
However, Paltrow is more than an
accomplished actress. She is a wife to Chris Martin of the Grammy
award-winning band Coldplay and mother to their children, daughter,
Apple, and son, Moses. Paltrow is the author of two cookbooks, which
promote her regimented and healthy approach to eating. Her most recently
released cookbook, “It’s All Good,” is No. 1 on the New York Time’s
bestseller list. Paltrow has also worked with several brands, including
Calvin Klein, Estee Lauder, and Baume & Mercier.

In January 2011, Gwyneth Paltrow became an official ambassador of Baume & Mercier watches.
When announcing their partnership, the brand praised Paltrow and
acknowledged her broad range of talents both in her personal and
professional life. Paltrow too spoke highly of Baume & Mercier in
stating, “The motto of Baume & Mercier, ‘Life is about moments’,
very much represents my personal philosophy of life. That’s why I said
yes/responded positively when the Brand suggested I represent it.”
